Is Anime Vanguards free to play?
Yes. Anime Vanguards is free to play on Roblox. It includes optional in-game purchases, but you can summon units, earn Gems and progress through every mode without spending money.
How do I get more Gems?
Redeem active codes, complete story and legend stages, claim first-time rewards from talking to NPCs, and pick up free Gems around the Evolve building. Gems are the main summon currency, with each summon costing 50 Gems.
How often do codes come out?
New codes usually arrive with updates, events and milestones. They are case-sensitive and tend to expire about two weeks after release, so redeem them as soon as you see them. Check our codes page for the latest verified list.
What should I reroll traits for?
On your main carry, reroll toward Monarch, Ethereal or Deadeye for the biggest damage gains. Put economy traits like Fortune on farm units, and keep cheaper traits such as Blitz on secondary damage dealers.
Who are the best units right now?
The current meta favors Vanguard and Secret units such as Gojo vs Sukuna, God (Above Heaven) and Demon Leader (Control), alongside strong farmable picks like Shinobi Sage (Friendship). See the tier list for the full ranking, which we update each patch.
What rarities are there in Anime Vanguards?
From lowest to highest the rarities are Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, the limited Exclusive, and the top-end Secret and Vanguard tiers. Units can also roll a rare Shiny variant with an alternate model. Your long-term account is built around Mythic units and above.
How does Shiny work?
Shiny is a rare alternate version of a unit (around a 1.5% base chance) that uses a different model. It's mostly a cosmetic flex, so don't chase Shinies at the expense of building a usable team.
What's the best team composition?
A consistent setup combines a main DPS carry, a utility unit that stalls or controls enemies, and a support that fuels your economy or buffs the team. Early on, lean on farm units to build cash, then swap them out for damage as the run develops.
How do I evolve units?
Evolutions upgrade a base unit into a much stronger form using specific materials gathered from stages, events and modes. Evolved units like Song Jinwu and Igros are far stronger than their base versions, so completing an evolution line is one of the best account upgrades available.
